2012 Beginning Fly Fishing® Classes - Anchorage
This class provides hands-on instruction on the following topics in a noncompetitive, small group environment. All equipment is provided.

Selecting proper equipment for different types of fish

Selecting the right size and type of fly for different types of fishing
-
Tying three essential knots and constructing leaders
-
Overhead casting, side arm casting, and roll casting
-
Assembling the necessary equipment for your vest
-
Landing and releasing fish unharmed and
-
Locating places to go flyfishing.

Each Beginning class is nine-hours in length. 3-date classes are 6-9 p.m. each evening. Two date classes are Fri. 6-9 p.m. and Sat. 9 - 5 p.m. or Sun. 9-5 p.m. and Mon. 6-9 p.m.. Space is limited. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. Call for more information or to register.
